www.crystalfountains.com One of the world's most attended theme parks, Canada's Wonderland, marked its 30th birthday with an innovative fountain light show and a refurbishment of "Royal Fountain". Original to the park, "Royal Fountain" measures 325'(99m) x 80'(24m) and has undergone its first upgrade since the park launch in 1981. Working with Doug McBoyle, Manager, Utilities & Technical Services at Canada's Wonderland, Crystal developed a custom LED lighting product (LED060) that lines "Royal Fountain" in the foreground of the iconic "Wonder Mountain." The LED060 is a unique combination color changing and white light LED product giving lighting designers the ability to switch between a white and RGB color show using one light fixture. This light runs a "pure" white unlike other fixtures that approximate a white by blending from the 16000000 RGB color palette. The switch from halogen to LED also allowed Canada's Wonderland to reduce its costs and power consumption.
